So you landed the interview and felt it went pretty well. Now its the usual waiting game to find out whether you move into the next process or got the job? But what can you do after the interview to stay “top of mind” for the Interviewer?
Send a Thank you email of course! But where do you begin and how do you structure it so that it doesn’t drag on and become pointless?
- Start with thanking your interviewer for meeting with you
- Talk about why you think the job is a great fit for you and why
- Remind them about a key topic you spoke about
- Reiterate your thanks
- End off with a closing statement like, you look forward to hearing from them
